Is DevInfo Kenya a recruiting agency?
No. DevInfo Kenya is an information service. We provide links to hundreds of local and regional job opportunities and application information. However, we have no employer affiliations with any of the agencies with the job opportunities.
Where does DevInfo Kenya receive funding from?
DevInfo Kenya is a 'social business' and we do not receive funding. Our operating costs are covered by the private sector through a link-advertising arrangement.
Does DevInfo Kenya provide information on operations beyond Kenya?
Yes we do. Our primary aim is to focus on Kenya. However, recognizing the importance of regional interventions to Kenyans involved in the development arena, we provide a limited amount of relevant information on regional events, training opportunities and job vacancies.
Can the information on DevInfo Kenya be found anywhere else on the Web?
Yes. There are numerous websites devoted to international information on social development. To our knowledge, there is no dedicated web site for development related activities for Kenya. This is the niche we currently occupy.
Who is DevInfo Kenya affiliated with?
DevInfo Kenya is a new enterprise, but you will notice from our home page that we are affiliated with some credible and well recognized partners It is through these affiliations that we increase our capacity to provide you with the development information that you need.Over time we expect this list to grow.
Additionally, we are currently in the process of developing information-sharing relationships with academic and other research institutions with a view to providing research abstracts for organizations throughout Kenya and regionally.
